| 9 | 10 | | university's Programs for Academic Student Support (PASS) |

| 10 | 11 | | initiative, which furthers the goals of TAMU--CC by providing |

| 11 | 12 | | resources to low-income, first-generation, and underrepresented |

| 12 | 13 | | students; in receiving a Rising Star Award, Ms. Heilman was |

| 13 | 14 | | recognized for her progress in academic achievements and program |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | requirements; and |

| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, A senior at TAMU--CC, where she is currently |

| 16 | 17 | | majoring in psychology, Ms. Heilman has been selected to present |

| 17 | 18 | | her student research at the 2017 Association for Psychological |

| 18 | 19 | | Science convention in Boston; following her graduation, she plans |

| 19 | 20 | | to pursue a Ph.D. in psychology at the University of Houston; and |

| 20 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Rose Heilman is indeed deserving of this prestigious |

| 21 | 22 | | honor, and she may look forward to a future bright with promise; |
