45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, A caring and purposeful life drew to a close with the
67 passing of Charles E. Malone on April 28, 2011, at the age of 68; and
78 WHEREAS, Charles "Chuck" Malone was born on March 3, 1943, in
89 Fort Worth; this esteemed Texan enjoyed a successful career as a
910 long-haul trucker; and
1011 WHEREAS, On August 18, 1989, Mr. Malone was joined in
1112 matrimony to the former Diana Aleman, with whom he shared a
1213 rewarding marriage that spanned 22 years; he cherished the time he
1314 spent with their eight grandchildren, Annalisa, Andrea, Abel,
1415 Alexia, Aliana, Sabrina, Isabella, and Indira; and
1516 WHEREAS, In his leisure hours, Mr. Malone took pleasure in
1617 working in his garden, growing vegetables like corn and asparagus
1718 as well as beautiful roses and other flowers; he also delighted in
1819 taking fishing trips to the Coastal Bend; and
1920 WHEREAS, Blessed with a loving family and admiring friends,
2021 Chuck Malone was a source of joy to all who shared in the richness of
2122 his life, and they will forever hold him close in their hearts; now,
2223 therefore, be it
2324 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
2425 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Charles E. Malone
2526 and extend sincere condolences to his relatives and friends; and,
2627 be it further
2728 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2829 prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
2930 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Charles
3031 "Chuck" E. Malone.
