| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Shaelynn Rae Welch of Lubbock, the beloved daughter |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Born on March 24, 2013, Shaelynn was blessed with |

| 9 | 10 | | the affection of a large and close-knit family that included her |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | siblings, Cameron, Grayson, Madelynn, Kimberlynn, Christian, and |

| 11 | 12 | | Carson, and her sister and best friend, Addison; she went to school |

| 12 | 13 | | at Lil' Haden's Playhouse and Learning Center, where she enjoyed |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | visiting with her friends and helping out her teachers; and |

| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, A natural-born nurturer, Shaelynn demonstrated her |

| 15 | 16 | | kindness and concern for others in many ways; she had a generous |

| 16 | 17 | | heart and a smile that lit up the room, and she always took care to |

| 17 | 18 | | remind those closest to her how much she loved them; and |

| 18 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Although it is immeasurably painful to say goodbye |

| 19 | 20 | | to this precious little girl, Shaelynn Welch brightened the lives |

| 20 | 21 | | of everyone around her, and they will forever carry her memory in |

| 21 | 22 | | their hearts; now, therefore, be it |

| 22 | 23 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |

| 23 | 24 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Shaelynn Rae Welch and |
