| 11 | 12 | | parents and teachers play in helping Texas children reach their |

| 12 | 13 | | full potential; in her ad, Ms. Hernandez explains why she became a |

| 13 | 14 | | teacher and the importance of ensuring that educators' interests |

| 14 | 15 | | are represented at the local, state, and national levels; and |

| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, A native of Racine, Wisconsin, Ms. Hernandez was |

| 16 | 17 | | raised in Mission and earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from |

| 17 | 18 | | The University of Texas at San Antonio; before joining the faculty |

| 18 | 19 | | at Wright Elementary, she spent four years at Vestal Elementary, |

| 19 | 20 | | where she taught second grade; in all her endeavors, she enjoys the |
