R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Joan Buschor has rendered exceptional service to her
fellow Houston residents as president of Super Neighborhood Council
No. 20-Mid-West; and
WHEREAS, A City of Houston super neighborhood is a
geographically designated area where an elected council,
representing residents, businesses, institutions, and civic
organizations, works to address the common needs and concerns of
the community; and
WHEREAS, The Mid-West super neighborhood includes a mix of
single-family homes, condominiums, apartment complexes, and
commercial facilities, as well as several schools within the
Houston Independent School District and numerous churches; and
WHEREAS, The strength and cohesion of our communities are
enhanced by the devoted efforts of individuals such as Joan
Buschor, whose tireless work has contributed immeasurably to the
quality of life in Houston; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Joan Buschor on her service as president
of Super Neighborhood Council No. 20-Mid-West and extend to her
sincere best wishes for continued success in her important work;
and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Buschor as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
