 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Roushon Talcott has ably served her fellow Texans as
 legislative director in the office of State Representative Tomas
 Uresti during the 85th Legislature; and
 WHEREAS, Ms. Talcott began the session as a legislative
 intern but was later promoted to legislative director; her
 resourcefulness and initiative have earned the appreciation of her
 colleagues, and her contributions to carrying forth Representative
 Uresti's legislative agenda have helped address issues facing
 citizens across the Lone Star State; and
 WHEREAS, Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico,
 Ms. Talcott is a 2017 graduate of The University of Texas at Austin,
 where she majored in international relations, global studies, and
 Hindi; she was a member of the Hindi Urdu Flagship program and spent
 her junior year in India, perfecting her language skills and taking
 part in an internship with a local nonprofit; after the session, she
 plans to complete the South Asia and Nonproliferation Internship
 through the Stimson Center in Washington, D.C., before eventually
 returning to the Texas Legislature; and
 WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed her
 duties as legislative director with skill and dedication, and she
 is indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now,
 therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
 Legislature hereby commend Roushon Talcott for her service as
 legislative director in the office of State Representative Tomas
 Uresti and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success
 in all her endeavors; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Ms. Talcott as an expression of high regard by the
 Texas House of Representatives.
