| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Selected from a field of talented contestants from |

| 9 | 10 | | across the United States and around the world, Nola Maresh excelled |

| 10 | 11 | | during each round of the pageant, which included personal |

| 11 | 12 | | interview, fashion wear, evening gown, and photo categories; she |

| 12 | 13 | | earned the exciting opportunity to represent the Lone Star State at |

| 13 | 14 | | the international level after being named Little Miss Texas Galaxy |

| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, The daughter of Jody and Erika Maresh, this |

| 16 | 17 | | accomplished young Texan is a second-grader at Norma Linda Treviño |

| 17 | 18 | | Elementary School, and in her free time, she enjoys fishing with her |

| 18 | 19 | | dad, singing, drawing, playing soccer, and volunteering; and |

| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, At each level of pageant competition, Nola Maresh |

| 20 | 21 | | has demonstrated exceptional poise and confidence, and she is |

| 21 | 22 | | indeed deserving of recognition for winning this prestigious title; |
