H.R. No. 386 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, Admired educator LaToya Wynne has greatly benefited the children of Klein Independent School District through her dedicated service over the course of nearly a decade; and WHEREAS, Now the executive director of elementary teaching and learning, Ms. Wynne first joined the district as a teacher at Lemm Elementary School; she went on to become principal at Epps Island Elementary; and WHEREAS, In 2016, Ms. Wynne was awarded a summer leadership fellowship by The Principals' Center at the Harvard Graduate School of Education; she was selected as 1 of just 95 professionals to participate in the prestigious leadership academy through the sponsorship of Raise Your Hand Texas, a nonprofit advocacy organization working to strengthen and improve public education; and WHEREAS, Children are the Lone Star State's most precious resource, and LaToya Wynne has demonstrated an exceptional commitment to providing young Texans with a strong foundation on which to build a happy, productive future; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas Legislature hereby honor LaToya Wynne for her contributions to the Klein Independent School District and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Ms. Wynne as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
