| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, An Argentine delegation sponsored by the American |

| 7 | 8 | | the week of February 12, 2017, and this occasion provides a fitting |

| 8 | 9 | | opportunity to honor the council for its efforts to promote |

| 9 | 10 | | understanding among the world's future policy makers; and |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | WHEREAS, A nonprofit educational exchange organization, |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | ACYPL conducts a number of programs designed to acquaint |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | participants with the politics, history, culture, governance, and |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | policy making of countries around the world; the aim is to help |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | next-generation leaders develop a more informed perspective on |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | other societies and on issues of regional or global importance; |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | since its inception in 1966, ACYPL has conducted exchanges in more |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | than 120 countries, and today it boasts some 8,000 alumni |

| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, The Argentine delegation that is visiting Texas is |

| 23 | 24 | | Camilo Vaca Narvaja, a parliamentary adviser to National Chamber of |

| 24 | 25 | | Deputies member Remo Carlotto; Gisela Yanina Ortiz, counseling |

| 25 | 26 | | coordinator for the president of the NCD Foreign Affairs and |

| 26 | 27 | | Religious Committee; Federico Pellegrini, an economist at the Bank |

| 27 | 28 | | of the Province of Buenos Aires; the Honorable Vanesa Zuccari, a |
