| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Jeannene Bryant concluded an outstanding tenure as |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Opened in 1965, the business was purchased by |

| 9 | 10 | | Ms. Bryant and her husband, Don, on May 1, 1989; and |

| 10 | 11 | | WHEREAS, Though they intended to run the enterprise together, |

| 11 | 12 | | Mr. Bryant was hired by Caprock Federal Credit Union soon after the |

| 12 | 13 | | couple acquired the shop; Ms. Bryant went on to oversee daily |

| 13 | 14 | | operations for more than a quarter century, brightening many days |

| 14 | 15 | | with floral arrangements lovingly crafted for a host of special |

| 15 | 16 | | occasions; and |

| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, By helping her customers commemorate important |

| 17 | 18 | | milestones, Jeannene Bryant has provided a great service to the |

| 18 | 19 | | Lamesa community, and she may indeed reflect with pride on her many |

| 19 | 20 | | accomplishments as she embarks on the next exciting chapter of her |

| 21 | 22 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |

| 22 | 23 | | Legislature hereby honor Jeannene Bryant for her nearly 27 years as |
