| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Trenton Sell of Boy Scouts of America Troop No. 9 in |

| 6 | 7 | | Lumberton has attained the rank of Eagle Scout, and this |

| 7 | 8 | | accomplishment truly merits special recognition; and |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, The Eagle Scout badge is a significant honor, one |

| 9 | 10 | | bestowed on only a small fraction of those who enter the scouting |

| 10 | 11 | | movement; in the course of meeting the rank's demanding criteria, |

| 11 | 12 | | Mr. Sell earned the requisite 21 merit badges and successfully |

| 12 | 13 | | completed an Eagle Scout project of benefit to his community; and |

| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, This fine young Texan began his scouting career in |

| 14 | 15 | | 2005 as a first grader, and he has demonstrated outstanding |

| 15 | 16 | | leadership ability throughout the years, winning the respect and |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | admiration of his fellow troop members as he worked toward the |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | highest rank that the organization offers; he has served as patrol |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | leader, assistant patrol leader, historian, and librarian, and he |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | has also earned the prestigious Arrow of Light badge; and |

| 20 | 21 | | WHEREAS, A senior at Lumberton High School, Mr. Sell is a |

| 21 | 22 | | trombonist in the Mighty Raider Band and a member of the boys' |
|---|
| 22 | 23 | | varsity cross country team; in addition, he participates in the |
|---|
| 23 | 24 | | youth group at the First Baptist Church of Loeb, and he has |
|---|
| 24 | 25 | | volunteered numerous hours in support of local church and community |
|---|
| 25 | 26 | | service groups; his future plans include joining the U.S. Marine |
|---|
| 26 | 27 | | Corps Reserve and earning a degree in criminal justice; and |

| 27 | 28 | | WHEREAS, Eagle Scout Sell's dedication to excellence and his |

| 28 | 29 | | perseverance in the pursuit of his goals have proven him worthy to |

| 29 | 30 | | stand among scouting's elite, and he may indeed reflect with pride |

| 30 | 31 | | on a job well done; now, therefore, be it |
