| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Mansfield Area Chamber of |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Under the able leadership of president Lori Williams |

| 9 | 10 | | and its board of directors, the Mansfield Area Chamber of Commerce |

| 10 | 11 | | advocates for the interests of its members at the local and state |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | levels and serves as a resource for training, networking, and |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | educational opportunities; and |

| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, The chamber also places a strong emphasis on |

| 14 | 15 | | benefiting the wider community, building and maintaining strong |

| 15 | 16 | | partnerships with city officials, the Mansfield Independent School |

| 16 | 17 | | District, and local organizations; and |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | WHEREAS, By offering vital information, supporting |

| 18 | 19 | | businesses, and striving to make the Mansfield area an even greater |

| 19 | 20 | | place to live, the chamber of commerce has been instrumental in |

| 20 | 21 | | promoting growth and prosperity, and it is indeed fitting to |

| 21 | 22 | | recognize its immeasurable contributions; now, therefore, be it |

| 22 | 23 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |

| 23 | 24 | | Legislature hereby honor the Mansfield Area Chamber of Commerce for |

| 24 | 25 | | its outstanding work and commend all those associated with the |

| 25 | 26 | | organization for their steadfast efforts; and, be it further |
