| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, The tragic loss of Terry Glenn Bailey, 54, and his |

| 6 | 7 | | wife, Pamela Hitt Bailey, 57, of Center on February 15, 2017, has |

| 8 | 9 | | their community whose lives they touched; and |

| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Born in Center on March 13, 1962, Terry Bailey was |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | the son of Millard and Charlotte Bailey; a self-made businessman, |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | he found success in the logging and oil industries and went on to |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | establish and own a multitude of different companies over the |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | course of his lifetime; and |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, The former Pamela Hitt was born on August 26, 1959, |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | to Charles and Ann Hitt, and she graduated from Stephen F. Austin |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | State University with a degree in business; after marrying Terry |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | Bailey on September 27, 1980, she became the anchor of their |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | treasured family, which grew to include two children, Carmen and |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | Dustin, and four grandchildren, Falon, Ivy, Trevor, and Taygan; and |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | WHEREAS, This devoted husband and wife were ideal partners, |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | and together, they invested in their community by turning over |
|---|
| 22 | 23 | | start-up businesses to budding entrepreneurs and purchasing land to |
|---|
| 23 | 24 | | build schools and churches; they were also the owners of a deer |
|---|
| 24 | 25 | | breeding facility in Center, and as lifetime members of the Texas |
|---|
| 25 | 26 | | Deer Association, they forged numerous friendships and made vital |
|---|
| 26 | 27 | | contributions to the deer industry across the country; with |
|---|
| 27 | 28 | | Mr. Bailey's larger-than-life personality and Mrs. Bailey's innate |
|---|
| 28 | 29 | | kindness, they shared a natural ability to uplift and inspire |
|---|
| 29 | 30 | | others, and they thrived on the joy of having a close-knit family |
|---|
| 30 | 31 | | and a wealth of cherished friends and colleagues; and |
|---|
| 31 | 32 | | WHEREAS, Although tragedy has brought an untimely end to the |

| 32 | 33 | | lives of these two beloved Texans, Terry and Pam Bailey leave behind |

| 33 | 34 | | a legacy of dedication to their family and their community that will |

| 34 | 35 | | be remembered and admired for many years to come; now, therefore, be |
