| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Felipa Pena has been named the Tuloso-Midway |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, This prestigious award recognizes bus drivers from |

| 9 | 10 | | school districts throughout the state who have demonstrated |

| 10 | 11 | | excellence in the areas of leadership, attitude, perseverance, |

| 11 | 12 | | student and parent relationships, and technical skill; and |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Felipa Pena moved to the Tuloso area with her family |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | in 1950, and she attended Tuloso-Midway ISD schools while growing |

| 14 | 15 | | up; she began her career with the district 17 years ago as a regular |

| 15 | 16 | | education bus driver, and she now primarily serves special |

| 16 | 17 | | education students; renowned for her dedication, she has won the |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | respect of parents and students, as well as her colleagues, and she |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | was the unanimous choice for the Bus Driver of the Year honor; and |

| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Entrusted with the well-being of young Texans, |

| 20 | 21 | | school support staff play a vital role in the educational process, |

| 21 | 22 | | and Felipa Pena may take great pride in her outstanding |

| 22 | 23 | | contributions in behalf of Tuloso-Midway students; now, therefore, |
