 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Locally owned and operated businesses play a vital
 role in the economy of the Lone Star State, and one such enterprise,
 Conroy Tractor of Mount Pleasant, celebrated its 66th anniversary
 in October 2016; and
 WHEREAS, In 1950, John and Christine Conroy, along with their
 two sons, Johnny and Joel, established a tractor dealership in
 Mount Pleasant; from the very start, the whole family contributed
 to the enterprise, from selling and repairing equipment to managing
 the office and sweeping the floors; and
 WHEREAS, Today, Conroy Tractor continues to specialize in the
 sale and repair of lawn, forestry, and farm tractors, as well as
 other agricultural equipment, and it is still owned and operated as
 a family business by Joel Conroy and his son, Jarred, who employ a
 staff of 15 people; and
 WHEREAS, Conroy Tractor has also been a longtime supporter of
 its community, and its 66th anniversary party at the Titus County
 Fairgrounds in October 2016 included a fund-raiser for the FFA; and
 WHEREAS, Providing jobs and valuable services to the region,
 Conroy Tractor is a Lone Star success story, and the Conroy family
 and their employees may indeed take great pride in their
 achievements over the years; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
 Legislature hereby congratulate Conroy Tractor on its 66th
 anniversary and extend to Joel and Jarred Conroy and their staff
 sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Conroy Tractor as an expression of high regard by the
 Texas House of Representatives.
