| 6 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Born in Camp County, Daphne Mae Smith has lived in |

| 7 | 7 | | the Winnsboro area for more than five decades; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, She was employed by the Winnsboro Independent |

| 9 | 9 | | School District for over 40 years; an esteemed teacher of home |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | economics, she made a positive impact in the lives of countless |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | young Texans; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Respected and admired by all who are privileged to |

| 13 | 13 | | know her, Daphne Mae Smith is a source of tremendous wisdom |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | and inspiration, and she may reflect with great satisfaction on a |

| 15 | 15 | | lifetime of achievement; now, therefore, be it |

| 16 | 16 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th |

| 17 | 17 | | Legislature, hereby congratulate Daphne Mae Smith on her 99th |
