| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |

| 3 | 3 | | recognize all associated with Leadership Lewisville for their |

| 4 | 4 | | outstanding efforts to provide an effective leadership program |
|---|
| 5 | 5 | | and to promote a prosperous future for their community and the |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | state; and |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | WHEREAS, An initiative of the Lewisville Area Chamber of |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | Commerce, Leadership Lewisville is a nine-month community |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | leadership program created to identify, educate, and motivate |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | future leaders; and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, The program is facilitated by notable members of |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | the local community who provide invaluable information and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | stimulate discussions that help participants develop and polish |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | their leadership skills, cultivate new relationships, and gain a |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | better understanding of their community's unique needs; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Through their efforts to promote a spirit of |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | volunteerism and community pride, Leadership Lewisville |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | organizers are fostering a more informed and engaged citizenry, |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | while at the same time, helping to build a brighter and more |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | prosperous future for the Lone Star State; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | Legislature, hereby commend the administrators, staff, and |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | sponsors of Leadership Lewisville for helping to inspire the |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | community leaders of tomorrow and extend to all best wishes for |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | continued success; and, be it further |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for the |
