1	1	SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 303
2	2	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
3	3	recognize the Young Men's Leadership Academy at Fred Florence
4	4	Middle School on the occasion of its naming celebration, which is
5	5	taking place February 28, 2017; and
6	6	WHEREAS, The Young Men's Leadership Academy at Fred
7	7	Florence Middle School in Dallas is dedicated to the principles
8	8	of leadership, preparation, and character; and
9	9	WHEREAS, The naming celebration will provide the community
10	10	with an opportunity to meet the students of this exemplary
11	11	institution and to witness the ways in which they are learning to
12	12	become productive, contributing members of society; and
13	13	WHEREAS, Education is the foundation of today's complex and
14	14	ever-changing world, and it is truly fitting that this
15	15	exceptional endeavor receive special recognition; now,
16	16	therefore, be it
17	17	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th
18	18	Legislature, hereby commend the students, faculty, and staff of
19	19	the Young Men's Leadership Academy on their commitment to
20	20	excellence in education and extend to them best wishes for a
21	21	memorable naming celebration; and, be it further
22	22	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for the
23	23	academy as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate.
