SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 303
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize the Young Men's Leadership Academy at Fred Florence
Middle School on the occasion of its naming celebration, which is
taking place February 28, 2017; and
WHEREAS, The Young Men's Leadership Academy at Fred
Florence Middle School in Dallas is dedicated to the principles
of leadership, preparation, and character; and
WHEREAS, The naming celebration will provide the community
with an opportunity to meet the students of this exemplary
institution and to witness the ways in which they are learning to
become productive, contributing members of society; and
WHEREAS, Education is the foundation of today's complex and
ever-changing world, and it is truly fitting that this
exceptional endeavor receive special recognition; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th
Legislature, hereby commend the students, faculty, and staff of
the Young Men's Leadership Academy on their commitment to
excellence in education and extend to them best wishes for a
memorable naming celebration; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for the
academy as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate.
