| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |

| 3 | 3 | | recognize Diana Glenz, who is retiring after 27 years of |

| 4 | 4 | | outstanding service with the Brenham Independent School |
|---|
| 5 | 5 | | District; and |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Diana Glenz joined the Brenham Independent School |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | District as the child nutrition director in 1989; she graduated |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | from Texas A&M University in 1979 with a degree in food science |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | and technology, and she completed her dietetic internship at |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | Harper-Grace Hospitals in Detroit, Michigan; and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, Talented and resourceful, she has handled her |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | many responsibilities over the years with remarkable efficiency, |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | dedication, and attention to detail; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Mrs. Glenz has been active in a number of |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | professional organizations, including the School Nutrition |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | Association, the Texas Association for School Nutrition, and the |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | Texas Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics; and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Over the course of her distinguished career with |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | the Brenham Independent School District, she has been noted for her |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | motto promoting the importance of faith, family, and career; and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, An exemplary employee, she is respected and |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | admired by her colleagues and students alike, and her presence as |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | a valued employee of the Brenham Independent School District will |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | be greatly missed; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | Legislature, hereby commend Diana Glenz on her exceptional |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | service with the Brenham Independent School District and extend |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | to her best wishes for continued success in all her endeavors; |
|---|

| 30 | 30 | | RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
