SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 329 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to recognize Diana Glenz, who is retiring after 27 years of outstanding service with the Brenham Independent School District; and WHEREAS, Diana Glenz joined the Brenham Independent School District as the child nutrition director in 1989; she graduated from Texas A&M University in 1979 with a degree in food science and technology, and she completed her dietetic internship at Harper-Grace Hospitals in Detroit, Michigan; and WHEREAS, Talented and resourceful, she has handled her many responsibilities over the years with remarkable efficiency, dedication, and attention to detail; and WHEREAS, Mrs. Glenz has been active in a number of professional organizations, including the School Nutrition Association, the Texas Association for School Nutrition, and the Texas Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics; and WHEREAS, Over the course of her distinguished career with the Brenham Independent School District, she has been noted for her motto promoting the importance of faith, family, and career; and WHEREAS, An exemplary employee, she is respected and admired by her colleagues and students alike, and her presence as a valued employee of the Brenham Independent School District will be greatly missed; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th Legislature, hereby commend Diana Glenz on her exceptional service with the Brenham Independent School District and extend to her best wishes for continued success in all her endeavors; and, be it further RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
