SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 503
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes great
pleasure in recognizing Madeline Meylor of Brazoria County on her
high school graduation; and
WHEREAS, Throughout her 12 years of homeschooling,
Madeline has demonstrated great determination in meeting her
academic goals; she has enriched her educational experience by
volunteering at the library and maintaining a book review
website, and she performed as a principal company member of the
Galveston Ballet; and
WHEREAS, Having successfully faced the many challenges of
a homeschool education, Madeline now embarks on an adventure into
a world for which she is well prepared and that holds countless
exciting opportunities for her; and
WHEREAS, The Texas Senate is proud to recognize Madeline
Meylor on her outstanding achievement; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th
Legislature, hereby commend Madeline Meylor for her exceptional
accomplishments and extend to her best wishes for future success
in all her endeavors; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
this exemplary young Texan as an expression of esteem from the
Texas Senate.
