| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors and |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | commemorates the life of Hernan Ilufi "Tito" Orellana, who died |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | April 3, 2017, at the age of 75; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Hernan Orellana was an exemplary gentleman who was |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | respected and admired in his community; and |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Orellana was born May 6, 1941, in Chile; he |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | was known throughout the Brownsville community for his |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | generosity and his willingness to help others; he was also an |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | avid reader, and he took great pleasure in listening to classical |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | music and watching classic films; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, A man of courage, strength, and compassion, he |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | gave unselfishly to others, and his wisdom, his engaging sense of |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | humor, and his enthusiasm for living each day to the fullest will |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | long be remembered by those who were privileged to share in his |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | life; and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | and he leaves behind memories that will be treasured forever by his |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | family and many friends; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the bereaved |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | family of Hernan Ilufi Orellana; and, be it further |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | Senate and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | memory of Hernan Ilufi Orellana. |
