SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 762
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize Cherylyn Murray on the occasion of her 60th birthday;
and
WHEREAS, Cherylyn Murray was born on May 16, 1957; she grew
up in Midland, Texas, and has enjoyed a fulfilling career as a
registered nurse; and
WHEREAS, A woman of many interests and talents, she applies
herself with enthusiasm to a wide range of activities; she is an
avid baker, and she loves cooking meals on weekends with her
three daughters; she also loves dancing and spending time with
her longtime partner, Tommy Daughtry; and
WHEREAS, She is fearless in undertaking adventurous
do-it-yourself projects, and her eclectic sense of style is
evident in her use of flea market gems and curbside finds to
decorate her home; her green thumb is the envy of all those who
are familiar with the struggle to keep plants thriving; and
WHEREAS, It is truly fitting that she receive special
recognition as she reaches this milestone in her life; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th
Legislature, hereby commend Cherylyn Murray on her many
achievements and extend to her best wishes for a joyful and
memorable 60th birthday celebration; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
