1	1	SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 774
2	2	WHEREAS, Alejandro Nunes of Troop 405 in Georgetown has
3	3	recently been honored by the Boy Scout program for attaining the
4	4	rank of Eagle Scout, a rank achieved by only a small percentage of
5	5	boys in the program; and
6	6	WHEREAS, This fine young man displayed outstanding
7	7	leadership through the planning and execution of a service
8	8	project that has benefited his community; he closed a pedestrian
9	9	trail at Berry Springs Park and Reserve in Georgetown to prevent
10	10	further erosion of the area, and he created a new trail for the
11	11	public to enjoy; and
12	12	WHEREAS, Alejandro advanced through the ranks of
13	13	Tenderfoot, Second, First, Star, and Life classes before
14	14	reaching the rank of Eagle Scout by following the principles of
15	15	the Scout oath and promise; and
16	16	WHEREAS, By becoming an Eagle Scout, this personable young
17	17	man has brought great distinction to himself, his family, his
18	18	troop, his community, and his state; and
19	19	WHEREAS, Alejandro is an exceptional representative of the
20	20	State of Texas and a sterling example to all who have the good
21	21	fortune to know him; now, therefore, be it
22	22	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th
23	23	Legislature, hereby commend Alejandro Nunes on earning the rank
24	24	of Eagle Scout and congratulate him on his great achievement;
25	25	and, be it further
26	26	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
27	27	Eagle Scout Nunes as an expression of high regard from the
28	28	Texas Senate.
