SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 774
WHEREAS, Alejandro Nunes of Troop 405 in Georgetown has
recently been honored by the Boy Scout program for attaining the
rank of Eagle Scout, a rank achieved by only a small percentage of
boys in the program; and
WHEREAS, This fine young man displayed outstanding
leadership through the planning and execution of a service
project that has benefited his community; he closed a pedestrian
trail at Berry Springs Park and Reserve in Georgetown to prevent
further erosion of the area, and he created a new trail for the
public to enjoy; and
WHEREAS, Alejandro advanced through the ranks of
Tenderfoot, Second, First, Star, and Life classes before
reaching the rank of Eagle Scout by following the principles of
the Scout oath and promise; and
WHEREAS, By becoming an Eagle Scout, this personable young
man has brought great distinction to himself, his family, his
troop, his community, and his state; and
WHEREAS, Alejandro is an exceptional representative of the
State of Texas and a sterling example to all who have the good
fortune to know him; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th
Legislature, hereby commend Alejandro Nunes on earning the rank
of Eagle Scout and congratulate him on his great achievement;
and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
Eagle Scout Nunes as an expression of high regard from the
Texas Senate.
