11 SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 868
22 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
33 recognize Leah Esther Loredo on the grand occasion of her 21st
44 birthday; and
55 WHEREAS, Leah Loredo was born on January 22, 1996, in
66 Sulzbach-Rosenberg, Germany, where her father, Sergio J. Loredo
77 was stationed in his service with the United States Army; Leah's
88 mother, Blanca E. Loredo, is a first-generation Texan, and both
99 of Leah's parents attended Ysleta High School in El Paso; and
1010 WHEREAS, As a member of a military family, Leah moved
1111 around quite often during her youth, yet she has always been
1212 proud to consider herself a Texan; and
1313 WHEREAS, Leah is a bright and charming young woman who is
1414 beloved by many and is known for her warmth, her wit, and her
1515 generosity of spirit; her birthday is cause for much celebration
1616 among her family and many friends; now, therefore, be it
1717 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th
1818 Legislature, hereby pay tribute to Leah Esther Loredo and extend
1919 to her best wishes on her 21st birthday; and, be it further
2020 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
2121 her as a memento of her special day.
