                            SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 868
 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
 recognize Leah Esther Loredo on the grand occasion of her 21st
 birthday; and
 WHEREAS, Leah Loredo was born on January 22, 1996, in
 Sulzbach-Rosenberg, Germany, where her father, Sergio J. Loredo
 was stationed in his service with the United States Army; Leah's
 mother, Blanca E. Loredo, is a first-generation Texan, and both
 of Leah's parents attended Ysleta High School in El Paso; and
 WHEREAS, As a member of a military family, Leah moved
 around quite often during her youth, yet she has always been
 proud to consider herself a Texan; and
 WHEREAS, Leah is a bright and charming young woman who is
 beloved by many and is known for her warmth, her wit, and her
 generosity of spirit; her birthday is cause for much celebration
 among her family and many friends; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th
 Legislature, hereby pay tribute to Leah Esther Loredo and extend
 to her best wishes on her 21st birthday; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
 her as a memento of her special day.
