| 10 | 10 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 11 | 11 | | SECTION 1. (a) Out of the proceeds from the collection of |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | the taxes imposed by Chapter 151, Tax Code, on the sale, storage, or |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | use of sporting goods, as defined by Section 151.801, Tax Code, |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | $15,000,000 is transferred to the Texas parks and wildlife |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | conservation and capital account and is appropriated from that |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | account to the Parks and Wildlife Department for the state fiscal |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | year ending August 31, 2018, and $20,000,000 is transferred to the |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | Texas parks and wildlife conservation and capital account and is |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | appropriated from that account to the Parks and Wildlife Department |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | for the state fiscal year ending August 31, 2019. Money |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | appropriated to the Parks and Wildlife Department under this |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | section shall be used to repair, restore, and present to the public |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | in a permanent dry berth the Battleship "Texas." |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | (b) This Act expires September 1, 2019. |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | Act takes effect on the 91st day after the last day of the |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | legislative session. |
