H.R. No. 199
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Anthony Ricciardelli was elected to the Plano City
Council for Place 2 in June 2017; and
WHEREAS, A National Merit Scholar graduate of Plano Senior
High School, Mr. Ricciardelli earned his bachelor's degree at The
University of Texas at Austin and attended the UT School of Law as a
Townes-Rice Scholar; recognized as a rising star in the Texas legal
community by Super Lawyers, he has argued cases before the Texas
Supreme Court and the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Ricciardelli has previously served as vice
chair of the Plano Heritage Commission, and he is a member of the
board of the Joni and Friends ministry, the Dallas benefit host
committee for the International Justice Mission, and the portfolio
advisory board for Texas Women Ventures; he and his wife, Liesl, are
the parents of a son, Ethan; and
WHEREAS, Appreciative of Plano's exceptional potential,
Anthony Ricciardelli is committed to making economic opportunity
and a high quality of life available to all its citizens; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Anthony
Ricciardelli on his election to the Plano City Council and extend to
him sincere best wishes for a successful tenure; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Ricciardelli as an expression of high regard by
the Texas House of Representatives.
