| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Robert Dubey was elected to the Richardson City |

| 6 | 7 | | Council for Place 1 in May 2017; and |

| 7 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Dubey brings exceptional credentials to his |

| 8 | 9 | | service on the council; he has been chair of the city's Charter |

| 9 | 10 | | Review Commission and chair and vice chair of the Parks and |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | Recreation Commission, and he is an alumnus of Leadership |

| 11 | 12 | | Richardson Class XXIV; and |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | WHEREAS, A resident of Richardson for more than 50 years, |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | Mr. Dubey is a graduate of Southern Arkansas University; he retired |

| 14 | 15 | | in 2016 after 40 years with the Richardson Independent School |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | District, where he was a teacher, a coach, and the district's |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | athletic director for 17 years; he was also district chair for the |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | University Interscholastic League and regional director of the |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | Texas High School Athletic Directors Association, which named him |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | to its Hall of Honor and as Athletic Director of the Year; he and his |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | wife, Tammy, have two children and three grandchildren; and |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Appreciative of Richardson's exceptional potential, |

| 22 | 23 | | Robert Dubey is committed to making economic opportunity and a high |

| 23 | 24 | | quality of life available to all its citizens; now, therefore, be it |

| 24 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |

| 25 | 26 | | Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Robert Dubey |
