| 11 | 12 | | musicians of all skill levels advance to the next stage of their |

| 12 | 13 | | careers; it annually draws more than 17,000 attendees from all 50 |

| 13 | 14 | | states and over 30 countries and features concerts from ensembles |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | representing a broad range of age groups; selection to perform at |

| 15 | 16 | | the conference is an honor accorded to only a handful of groups and |

| 16 | 17 | | is based largely on performance recordings submitted as part of the |

| 18 | 19 | | WHEREAS, One of just four middle school bands in the world |

| 19 | 20 | | chosen to perform at the conference in 2016, the Roma ensemble |
