| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Gary Parker has retired from the JBS beef processing |

| 6 | 7 | | plant in Cactus, drawing to a close a notable tenure with the |

| 7 | 8 | | company that has spanned 41 years; and |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, After moving to Dumas in 1973, Mr. Parker worked |

| 9 | 10 | | pouring concrete, and one of his first jobs was helping to build the |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | JBS Cactus facility; and |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | WHEREAS, A few years later, Mr. Parker applied for a job at |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | the plant, and he first hired on as a forklift driver in the |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | shipping department; over the course of his exemplary tenure with |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | JBS, he spent much of his time working in the cattle pens, and he |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | also distinguished himself in a variety of other positions; and |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Parker earned the respect and admiration of his |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | supervisors and coworkers with his strong work ethic, rarely |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | missing a day during his many decades of employment; and |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Parker enjoys the love and |

| 20 | 21 | | support of his wife, Tish, as well as that of his 11 children and 30 |

| 21 | 22 | | grandchildren; and |

| 22 | 23 | | WHEREAS, Gary Parker's dedication, skill, and commitment to |

| 23 | 24 | | excellence have greatly benefited the operations of the JBS Cactus |

| 24 | 25 | | facility, and he may indeed reflect with pride on a career well |

| 25 | 26 | | spent as he embarks upon the next exciting chapter of his life; now, |
