 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Jason Willett is celebrating 25 years as an attorney
 in November 2018; and
 WHEREAS, A Texan since 1972, Mr. Willett completed his
 bachelor's degree in government at The University of Texas at
 Austin before going on to graduate from Baylor University School of
 Law in 1993; he started his first job that year; and
 WHEREAS, Mr. Willett is now a partner in the firm of Wray,
 Willett, and Stoffer in Waxahachie; he has focused his practice on
 Ellis County, although he has also handled cases across the state in
 multiple forums, including arbitration proceedings and the federal
 court system; for the most part, he represents clients in personal
 injury suits and complex civil litigation, especially employment
 law and family law; and
 WHEREAS, Admitted to the United States Supreme Court, as well
 as to the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Eastern
 Districts of Texas, Mr. Willett is a member of the State Bar of
 Texas; he has served as chair of the District 7-B Grievance
 Committee and as president of the Ellis County Bar Association;
 moreover, he has demonstrated leadership in the wider community,
 serving as president of the Waxahachie Lions Club and as a member of
 a number of boards and foundations; he is an elder of Central
 Presbyterian Church; and
 WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Willett enjoys the love
 and support of his wife, Robin; he is the proud father of three
 children, Audrey, Camille, and Judson, and he takes great delight
 in attending their sporting events; in addition, he enjoys playing
 golf, traveling, and creating new recipes; and
 WHEREAS, Jason Willett has garnered the respect and
 admiration of his colleagues in the legal profession, and as he
 marks this significant milestone in his career, he may indeed
 reflect with pride on his accomplishments; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
 Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Jason Willett
 on his 25th year in the practice of law and extend to him sincere
 best wishes for continued success; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Mr. Willett as an expression of high regard by the
 Texas House of Representatives.
