| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, The tragic passing of Symon Castillo of Ennis on |

| 6 | 7 | | July 5, 2017, at the age of 22, has brought a heartbreaking loss to |

| 7 | 8 | | the family and friends of this beloved young man; and |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Born on June 10, 1995, to Nate Castillo and Emma |

| 9 | 10 | | Castillo, Symon Castillo grew up with the companionship of his two |

| 10 | 11 | | sisters, Timpestt and Tatum, and two brothers, R. J. and Channing; |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | he attended Ennis High School and went on to work as a mechanic at |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | Dart Container Corporation, where he shared a bond of camaraderie |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | with his fellow crew members; and |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Fun-loving and full of life, Mr. Castillo enjoyed |

| 15 | 16 | | playing softball and baseball, and he deeply treasured the time he |

| 16 | 17 | | spent with his family and friends; he had a radiant smile that |

| 17 | 18 | | reflected his kind, generous heart, and he inspired those around |

| 18 | 19 | | him with his humble nature and his genuine concern for others; these |

| 19 | 20 | | traits led him to make the compassionate decision to register as an |

| 20 | 21 | | organ donor, and this selfless act ultimately helped several |

| 21 | 22 | | individuals, including his own father, who had been on a waiting |

| 22 | 23 | | list for a kidney transplant; and |
|---|
| 23 | 24 | | WHEREAS, Although his journey on this earth ended far too |

| 24 | 25 | | soon, Symon Castillo made a profound and unforgettable impression |

| 25 | 26 | | on countless people, and they will forever treasure their memories |

| 26 | 27 | | of the happy times spent in his company; now, therefore, be it |
