| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Chapter 1004, Transportation Code, is amended by | |
| 11 | 11 | adding Section 1004.003 to read as follows: | |
| 12 | 12 | Sec. 1004.003. CONFIDENTIALITY OF INFORMATION RELATED TO | |
| 13 | 13 | INVESTIGATIONS. Except as necessary to comply with Section | |
| 14 | 14 | 2301.202, Occupations Code, information obtained during an | |
| 15 | 15 | investigation of a person regulated under Chapter 2301 or 2302, | |
| 16 | 16 | Occupations Code, or Chapter 503 or 643 of this code is confidential | |
| 17 | 17 | and not subject to disclosure under Chapter 552, Government Code, | |
| 18 | 18 | until the investigation is dismissed or finally resolved. | |
| 19 | 19 | SECTION 2. Section 2301.612, Occupations Code, is repealed. | |
| 20 | 20 | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. |
