|---|
| 7 | 13 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 8 | 14 | | SECTION 1. Section 8886.051, Special District Local Laws |
|---|
| 9 | 15 | | Code, is amended to read as follows: |
|---|
| 10 | 16 | | Sec. 8886.051. DISTRICT TERRITORY. The boundaries of the |
|---|
| 11 | 17 | | district are coextensive with the boundaries of [is composed of the |
|---|
| 12 | 18 | | territory in] Sutton County, [other than the territory in Sections |
|---|
| 13 | 19 | | 60, 67, and 90, Block No. A, HE&WTRyCoSurvey, Sutton County,] |
|---|
| 14 | 20 | | unless the district's territory has been modified under: |
|---|
| 15 | 21 | | (1) Section 8886.052 or 8886.053 of this chapter or |
|---|
| 16 | 22 | | their predecessor statutes, former Section 11 or 14, Chapter 377, |
|---|
| 17 | 23 | | Acts of the 69th Legislature, Regular Session, 1985; or |
|---|
| 18 | 24 | | (2) other law. |
|---|
| 19 | 25 | | SECTION 2. (a) The legal notice of the intention to |
|---|
| 20 | 26 | | introduce this Act, setting forth the general substance of this |
|---|
| 21 | 27 | | Act, has been published as provided by law, and the notice and a |
|---|
| 22 | 28 | | copy of this Act have been furnished to all persons, agencies, |
|---|
| 23 | 29 | | officials, or entities to which they are required to be furnished |
|---|
| 24 | 30 | | under Section 59, Article XVI, Texas Constitution, and Chapter 313, |
|---|
| 25 | 31 | | Government Code. |
|---|
| 26 | 32 | | (b) The governor, one of the required recipients, has |
|---|
| 27 | 33 | | submitted the notice and Act to the Texas Commission on |
|---|
| 28 | 34 | | Environmental Quality. |
|---|
| 29 | 35 | | (c) The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has filed |
|---|
| 30 | 36 | | its recommendations relating to this Act with the governor, the |
|---|
| 31 | 37 | | lieutenant governor, and the speaker of the house of |
|---|
| 32 | 38 | | representatives within the required time. |
|---|
| 33 | 39 | | (d) All requirements of the constitution and laws of this |
|---|
| 34 | 40 | | state and the rules and procedures of the legislature with respect |
|---|
| 35 | 41 | | to the notice, introduction, and passage of this Act are fulfilled |
|---|
| 36 | 42 | | and accomplished. |

| 37 | 43 | | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. |
