12 | 12 | Sec. 52l. On the retirement of an animal owned and used by a | |
13 | 13 | county for county purposes, the county may transfer ownership of | |
14 | 14 | the animal to the animal's handler at no cost to the handler. | |
15 | 15 | SECTION 2. This proposed constitutional amendment shall be | |
16 | 16 | submitted to the voters at an election to be held November 5, 2019. | |
17 | 17 | The ballot shall be printed to permit voting for or against the | |
18 | 18 | proposition: "The constitutional amendment to allow the transfer of | |
19 | 19 | an animal used for county purposes to the animal's handler on the | |
20 | 20 | animal's retirement." |
