5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, A caring and purposeful life drew to a close with the |

6 | 7 | | passing of Lile Lucio Rodriguez of Robstown on March 10, 2019, at |

8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, The daughter of Manuel and Guadalupe Lucio, the |

9 | 10 | | former Lile Lucio was born in Harlingen on January 27, 1941, and she |

10 | 11 | | grew up with the companionship of 13 siblings; and |

11 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Mrs. Rodriguez shared a rewarding marriage with her |

12 | 13 | | husband of 51 years, Manuel Rodriguez Jr.; she was the proud mother |
---|
13 | 14 | | of three children, Liza, Manuel, and Arnoldo, and with the passing |
---|
14 | 15 | | years, she had the pleasure of seeing her family grow to include |

15 | 16 | | eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and numerous |
---|
16 | 17 | | nieces and nephews; and |

17 | 18 | | WHEREAS, A beloved member of her community, Mrs. Rodriguez |

18 | 19 | | was the owner and operator of Lile's Flower Shop; she served the |

19 | 20 | | people of Robstown for more than four decades, bringing them joy |

20 | 21 | | through her beautiful and creative floral arrangements; and |

21 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Those fortunate enough to have known Lile Rodriguez |

22 | 23 | | will remember the way she touched their lives with her warmth and |

23 | 24 | | compassion, and she will forever hold a treasured place in their |
