 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, A caring and purposeful life drew to a close with the
 passing of Lile Lucio Rodriguez of Robstown on March 10, 2019, at
 the age of 78; and
 WHEREAS, The daughter of Manuel and Guadalupe Lucio, the
 former Lile Lucio was born in Harlingen on January 27, 1941, and she
 grew up with the companionship of 13 siblings; and
 WHEREAS, Mrs. Rodriguez shared a rewarding marriage with her
 husband of 51 years, Manuel Rodriguez Jr.; she was the proud mother
 of three children, Liza, Manuel, and Arnoldo, and with the passing
 years, she had the pleasure of seeing her family grow to include
 eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and numerous
 nieces and nephews; and
 WHEREAS, A beloved member of her community, Mrs. Rodriguez
 was the owner and operator of Lile's Flower Shop; she served the
 people of Robstown for more than four decades, bringing them joy
 through her beautiful and creative floral arrangements; and
 WHEREAS, Those fortunate enough to have known Lile Rodriguez
 will remember the way she touched their lives with her warmth and
 compassion, and she will forever hold a treasured place in their
 hearts; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas
 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Lile Lucio
 Rodriguez and extend deepest condolences to the members of her
 family: to her husband, Manuel Rodriguez Jr.; to her children, Liza
 Lile Rodriguez Elizondo, Manuel Rodriguez III, and Arnoldo Lucio
 Rodriguez; to her brothers, Juan Lucio, Ramiro Lucio, and Robert
 Lucio; to her sisters, Guadalupe Flores and Severa Padilla; to her
 grandchildren, Kassandra Elizondo, Dustin Elizondo, Sarah Sellers,
 Manuel Rodriguez IV, Benito Daniel Jackson Rodriguez, Arnoldo
 Rodriguez II, Jacob Nathaniel Rodriguez, and Matthew Ryan
 Rodriguez; to her great-grandchildren, Nathan Sellers, Aidan
 Sellers, and Nora Rodriguez; and to her other relatives and many
 friends; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Lile
 Rodriguez.
