| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Vicki Keach retired from the Nueces County |

| 6 | 7 | | Commissioners Court in June 2018, and the conclusion of her notable |

| 8 | 9 | | contributions of this esteemed Texan; and |

| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Keach has served as executive secretary of the |

| 10 | 11 | | Office of Administration's Main Division since June 2006; during a |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | successful tenure that has spanned 12 years, she has helped the |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | Nueces County Commissioners Court perform vital civic functions, |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | such as adopting the county's budget and tax rate, filling |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | vacancies in elective and appointive offices, and maintaining |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | county buildings and facilities; and |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, A graduate of Robstown High School and Texas A&M |

| 17 | 18 | | University--Kingsville, Ms. Keach began her career as an employee |

| 18 | 19 | | of the Nueces County Record Star, where she worked from 1979 to |

| 19 | 20 | | 2006; in all her endeavors, she has enjoyed the support and |

| 20 | 21 | | encouragement of her husband, Sam Keach; and |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | WHEREAS, The skill, professionalism, and commitment to |

| 22 | 23 | | excellence demonstrated by Vicki Keach have made her an important |

| 23 | 24 | | asset to the Nueces County Commissioners Court, and she may reflect |

| 24 | 25 | | with pride on her accomplishments, knowing that she has rendered |

| 25 | 26 | | invaluable service to her colleagues and fellow citizens; now, |
