 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Vicki Keach retired from the Nueces County
 Commissioners Court in June 2018, and the conclusion of her notable
 career provides a fitting opportunity to reflect on the
 contributions of this esteemed Texan; and
 WHEREAS, Ms. Keach has served as executive secretary of the
 Office of Administration's Main Division since June 2006; during a
 successful tenure that has spanned 12 years, she has helped the
 Nueces County Commissioners Court perform vital civic functions,
 such as adopting the county's budget and tax rate, filling
 vacancies in elective and appointive offices, and maintaining
 county buildings and facilities; and
 WHEREAS, A graduate of Robstown High School and Texas A&M
 University--Kingsville, Ms. Keach began her career as an employee
 of the Nueces County Record Star, where she worked from 1979 to
 2006; in all her endeavors, she has enjoyed the support and
 encouragement of her husband, Sam Keach; and
 WHEREAS, The skill, professionalism, and commitment to
 excellence demonstrated by Vicki Keach have made her an important
 asset to the Nueces County Commissioners Court, and she may reflect
 with pride on her accomplishments, knowing that she has rendered
 invaluable service to her colleagues and fellow citizens; now,
 therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas
 Legislature hereby congratulate Vicki Keach on her retirement from
 the Nueces County Commissioners Court and extend to her sincere
 best wishes for continued success as she embarks on the next
 exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Ms. Keach as an expression of high regard by the Texas
 House of Representatives.
