| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Jan Stovall, a third-grade reading teacher at |

| 8 | 9 | | the Region 16 Education Service Center; and |

| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, The winners of these prestigious annual awards are |

| 10 | 11 | | first nominated for consideration by their fellow faculty members, |

| 11 | 12 | | and those who are later chosen as district Teacher of the Year |

| 12 | 13 | | become eligible for the regional honor; and |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Jan Stovall exemplifies the passion, determination, |

| 14 | 15 | | and innovative spirit that are the hallmarks of our best teachers, |

| 15 | 16 | | and she has set a standard of excellence to which all in her |

| 16 | 17 | | profession may aspire; now, therefore, be it |
