| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Affiliated with USA Savate, the World Pugilist Hall |

| 10 | 11 | | of Fame honors individuals who have excelled as teachers and |

| 11 | 12 | | competitors in their particular fields of martial arts; members |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | must meet rigorous eligibility criteria, including direct lineage |

| 13 | 14 | | to the founder of a style or system, and must exemplify the |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | traditions associated with their discipline; and |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, The World Pugilist Hall of Fame preserves the |

| 16 | 17 | | heritage and achievements of those who excel in the pugilistic |

| 17 | 18 | | arts, and it is indeed worthy of commendation; now, therefore, be it |

| 18 | 19 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas |

| 19 | 20 | | Legislature hereby honor the World Pugilist Hall of Fame and extend |

| 20 | 21 | | to all those associated with the organization sincere best wishes |
