| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Section 30.00044(l), Government Code, is amended | |

| 12 | 12 | (l) Sections [Section] 30.00007(b)(5) and 30.00009(c) and | |
| 13 | 13 | (d) do [does] not apply to this subchapter. | |
| 14 | 14 | SECTION 2. The change in law made by this Act applies to a | |
| 15 | 15 | clerk and other court personnel of the municipal court of record of | |
| 16 | 16 | the City of Lubbock employed on or after the effective date of this | |
| 17 | 17 | Act, regardless of whether the clerk or other personnel began | |
| 18 | 18 | employment before, on, or after the effective date of this Act. | |
| 19 | 19 | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. |
