59 relating to the designation of the portion of Interstate Highway 14
610 in Bell County as the First Cavalry Division Veterans Highway.
711 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
812 SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 225, Transportation Code,
913 is amended by adding Section 225.152 to read as follows:
10- Sec. 225.152. FIRST CAVALRY DIVISION VETERANS HIGHWAY.
11- (a) The portion of Interstate Highway 14 in Bell County is
12- designated as the First Cavalry Division Veterans Highway. The
13- designation is in addition to any other designation.
14+ Sec. 225.152. FIRST CAVALRY DIVISION VETERANS HIGHWAY. (a)
15+ The portion of Interstate Highway 14 in Bell County is designated as
16+ the First Cavalry Division Veterans Highway. The designation is in
17+ addition to any other designation.
1418 (b) Subject to Section 225.021(c), the department shall:
1519 (1) design and construct markers indicating the
1620 designation as the First Cavalry Division Veterans Highway and any
1721 other appropriate information; and
1822 (2) erect a marker at each end of the highway and at
1923 appropriate intermediate sites along the highway.
2024 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019.
