4	8		AN ACT
5	9		relating to the designation of the portion of Interstate Highway 14
6	10		in Bell County as the First Cavalry Division Veterans Highway.
7	11		BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
8	12		SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 225, Transportation Code,
9	13		is amended by adding Section 225.152 to read as follows:
10		-	Sec. 225.152. FIRST CAVALRY DIVISION VETERANS HIGHWAY.
11		-	~~(a)~~ The portion of Interstate Highway 14 in Bell County is
12		-	~~designated as~~ the First Cavalry Division Veterans Highway. The
13		-	~~designation is in~~ addition to any other designation.
	14	+	Sec. 225.152. FIRST CAVALRY DIVISION VETERANS HIGHWAY. (a)
	15	+	The portion of Interstate Highway 14 in Bell County is designated as
	16	+	the First Cavalry Division Veterans Highway. The designation is in
	17	+	addition to any other designation.
14	18		(b) Subject to Section 225.021(c), the department shall:
15	19		(1) design and construct markers indicating the
16	20		designation as the First Cavalry Division Veterans Highway and any
17	21		other appropriate information; and
18	22		(2) erect a marker at each end of the highway and at
19	23		appropriate intermediate sites along the highway.
20	24		SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019.
