| 9 | 9 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Section 10, Article 4413(37), Revised Statutes, | |
| 11 | 11 | is amended by adding Subsection (f) to read as follows: | |
| 12 | 12 | (f) An amount equal to at least one-third of the fees | |
| 13 | 13 | collected under Subsection (b) in each biennium shall be | |
| 14 | 14 | appropriated to the authority for the purposes of this article. | |
| 15 | 15 | SECTION 2. Section 10(f), Article 4413(37), Revised | |
| 16 | 16 | Statutes, as added by this Act, applies only to a fee collected on | |
| 17 | 17 | or after the effective date of this Act. A fee collected before the | |
| 18 | 18 | effective date of this Act is governed by the law in effect on the | |
| 19 | 19 | date the fee was collected, and the former law is continued in | |
| 20 | 20 | effect for that purpose. | |
| 21 | 21 | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. |
