| 7 | 9 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 8 | 10 | SECTION 1. Subchapter G, Chapter 504, Transportation Code, | |
| 9 | 11 | is amended by adding Section 504.671 to read as follows: | |
| 10 | 12 | Sec. 504.671. F-35 FIGHTER JET LICENSE PLATES. (a) The | |
| 11 | 13 | department shall issue specialty license plates that include the | |
| 12 | 14 | image of an F-35 fighter jet and the words "The Sound of Freedom." | |
| 13 | 15 | (b) After deduction of the department's administrative | |
| 14 | 16 | costs, the remainder of the fee for issuance of the license plates | |
| 15 | 17 | shall be deposited to the credit of the general revenue fund. | |
| 16 | 18 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. | |
