| 11 | 11 | SECTION 1. Section 253.100(b), Election Code, is amended to | |
| 12 | 12 | read as follows: | |
| 13 | 13 | (b) A corporation may make political expenditures to | |
| 14 | 14 | finance the solicitation of political contributions to a | |
| 15 | 15 | general-purpose committee assisted under Subsection (a) from the | |
| 16 | 16 | stockholders, employees, or families of stockholders or employees | |
| 17 | 17 | of one or more corporations, including soliciting political | |
| 18 | 18 | contributions by making charitable contributions that fully or | |
| 19 | 19 | partially match the political contributions. | |
| 20 | 20 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. |
