SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 482 In Memory of Felicity Margaret Kidd WHEREAS, Words cannot adequately express the heartache felt by the family and friends of Felicity Margaret Kidd of Hamilton, who passed away on February 18, 2019, at the age of 16; and WHEREAS, A native of San Antonio, Felicity Kidd was born on September 6, 2002, to Jennifer Kidd and the late Stewart Kidd, and she enjoyed the companionship of two brothers, Santiago and Joshua, and a sister, Tessa; she moved to Hamilton when she was in the second grade, and she attended Hamilton High School as a sophomore; she was also active in the congregation at the First United Methodist Church; and WHEREAS, Felicity was a cherished daughter, sister, and friend who always looked out for her loved ones; her compassion extended to animals as well, and she took numerous cats and dogs into her home, while nursing other animals back to health; and WHEREAS, Through the kindness and love that she shared, Felicity Kidd brought a light to the world that can never be extinguished, and she will forever hold a treasured place in the hearts of those who held her dear; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 86th Legislature, hereby pay tribute to the memory of Felicity Margaret Kidd and extend deepest condolences to the members of her family: to her mother, Jennifer Kidd; to her siblings, Santiago, Joshua, and Tessa; to her aunt, Jessica Brown; to her grandmother, Catherine Brown; and to her other relatives and friends; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be prepared for her family and that when the Texas Senate adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Felicity Margaret Kidd.
